In January of 2019, the demand for Banty Red Mantle requests got to a point where I couldn’t (and often wouldn’t) fulfill them. I decided to do a “Mantle Set” that would feature alternative cards of the hobby giant from 1951-1959. 7 copies were printed of each card—I have one and my son has one. That left 5 for individual sale. There would be 1 pack-fresh example for the web store and the others would auction over the next few years. The ‘52 has been vaulted, for the most part and hasn’t seen action since 2020. We are offering the pack-fresh copy here with hopes of listing a regular issue later in the summer of 2025 or early 2026. This card is perfect. Centering, registration, color and corners all magnificent and unimprovable with our technology.
