The ‘58 set was beautiful. On the flipside, it marked an end of a beautiful era in baseball. The Giants and Dodgers left New York, expansion was on the horizon and players of the prior decade—some of the true greats of the game’s history and tradition were aging veterans. No longer a way to facilitate bubble gum sales, the CARDS were becoming collected like never before.

This set aims to bridge the gap from the game we knew to the game it would become. The 1958 set was a natural starting point. Effort was made to make a prettier card than the originals while maintaining the integrity of the process. There really is no limit to the player selection other than they must’ve debuted AFTER 1958.

There are numerous players that made a large impact with more than one team—there is a card created in each uniform.
