Like the Mantle, I really don’t like the ‘57 Topps issue of hammerin’ Hank for obvious reasons. They put Willie Mays on his ‘56 card and made him a lefty in ‘57 as his Braves would dethrone the Yankees and claim their only World Championship in Milwaukee.

The image hails from the spring of 1957 before an exhibition game vs. the Giants just before the season began. We did 2 different “second take” poses of Aaron (this one and a gorgeous fielding pose). Beautiful vintage kodachrome hues gently please the eyes on the crystal clear and perfectly registered image.

The word that best describes this card is “majestic”.
